In old times, people knew much better about the interrelatedness of computers and human beings.
In fact, applications like Excel had much more human components than logical.
Today, computer science and systems analysis is often thought as one science, relating solely to devices known as computers. In fact, systems analysis is and have ever been "generic", relating to logical dependencies not only locatable in man-made devices. The effects of the computerization on a grand scale in the last 20 years on societies and communities may still be underestimated.
